Myanmar Bishops declare 26 March as Day of Prayer and Fasting for Peace

In a letter to the “Children of God,” Myanmar’s Catholic Bishops invite the faithful to observe a day of prayer and fasting for peace in the country and the world on Thursday, 26 March.

Today’s forum was held with four main objectives: to enable elected Hluttaw representatives to gain a broad perspective on the country’s political, economic, and social sectors and to anticipate the tasks they should participate in for national development;
