According to an August notification in the official Myanmar Gazette, the MPU is chaired by Aung Lin Dwe, speaker of the regime’s parliament, with Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker Khin Yi serving as vice chair and Deputy Speaker Jeng Phang Naw Taung as secretary.
